I'm not a Beast... yet

Unread postby Ragepassthru » Thu Oct 31, 2013 5:34 am

Let me start off by just saying 'Thank you to all the Beast members who mentor and guide' on this site! I've learned sooooo much already, and keep learning more every day it seems. Here's a little story...

I hunted some public land last year, but didn't have a chance to scout it before hand. I saw several deer, but never had a shot opportunity. I scouted some areas this Spring that I thought would have potential, and it paid off. Took a doe second sit in one spot, and a 7 pointer first sit in another spot. I know the buck isn't a trophy to a lot of folks, but I'm mighty proud of it :D

I'm a long way from being a Beast like a lot of people on here, but I feel like I've learned, and am still learning. I have shot bigger bucks, but this one lets me know I did some things right. It was pure luck before. It might have been this time too, but I'm chalking it up to other Beast members and my own labor and paying attention.

So, once again, THANK YOU fellow Beast members!!

As soon as I figure out how to post pics I'll put em up

Rob

I moved the pics to your OP Stan

Congrats on the hard earned buck.

By the way even the best of the best on this site continue to learn remember that.

It took me a couple years before I finally could put pieces of the puzzle together and I still struggle with figuring out bucks.

You are in the right place. Welcome.

If you Pm/email me the pictures I'll try and post them up for you.
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.

I uploaded them to the gallery. Then right-clicked and copied url. Is that not what I'm supposed to do? Trying to get ready for work, so I'll try to read through the instructions again later or tomorrow morning. Thanks for the help

Edit: I got it. Forgot one step. Kinda like my hunting. I seem to forget one step more times than not LOL

Buck and doe with the bow. Doesn't get much better than that!

Congrats!
