Naked face unless it's cold.

Of the options - nothing. I pull my hat down pretty low and with my collar up, anything more is excessive I think for deer. I wear a balaclava or face mask if its cold but thats just for warmth.

I have the fleece as well. Thick and very warm but really restricts your hearing if that matters to you.

Awesome

I usually where a came face mask just to cut the glare off my white beard , on these colder sits I have a Carhartt hat with a built in fleece face mask which cuts the wind and provides some concealment.

I do all 3...face mask some days, face paint/mud others, nothing the balance. The lower I sit, the more concerned I get about my face.

I never use face paint but sometimes will use a bug net, and when its cold i almost always wear a face mask while on stand just for warmth. Like others have said though i think your movement is what they see the most but i do believe you could get away with more movement if your face is covered.

I like having everything covered except for my eyes. I use an face net when temps are nice and switch to insulated neck gators/hats for the colder temps. I like the new Gamehide skull caps and neck gators. I agree 15 feet up you can get away with a bare face, but I hunt on the ground most of the time and as long as my face/head is covered up, most deer pass by without noticing anything. Being still is key.

I wear a mask of some sort 100% of the time. Early season it's more for bugs. As the season goes on in wNY, the temps drive what I wear, poly or fleece.

I don't like having my mouth/nose covered when anchoring, so I will drop the mask down below my mouth when I feel like a shot is going to happen.

I used a light mesh mask for several years but gave it up this year. I have had deer stare at me this season but none busted me- well one doe was snorting at me @ 20 yards so I shot her. I do use Carbomask when sitting on the ground or really low in a tree though.
