CT has some great deer.
I've cracked two properties (met some folks while golfing), but need to take the archery course.
Unfortunately they do not reciprocate with NH and the grandfather clause...

Sam - how about starting a post with a story on that wide buck!?

Wow some dandy bucks by all, huge congrats to all you fellas on your great bucks. I haven't shot many big ones but the last few years have been pretty darn good to me.

2008 archery buck. Not much of a rack...might be 100 inches but he was 243lbs field dressed and I sat through a monsoon while watching him breed a doe off and on for over 9 hours before I was able to snort wheeze him in for a shot.

In some of those pictures you look about 12 years old. You are a impressive young hunter.....gonna put a lot of bone on the wall. You better learn taxidermy.
