I think I'm going to buy a couple double sheaves with a high load capacity, that will handle 1/2" rope and make a block and tackle.

Okay so I talked to the guy that sells the block and tackle noted above and I ordered 2 of these from him:

which will allow me to make a 75' length block and tackle with a 1680 lb working load on a 4/1 ratio.
I cancelled the other orders, this was really what I was looking for. It'll be a lot faster than the rope puller.
This is what happens when resourceful like minded people come together to work on a solution. I'll post it up when I put it together.
A little more than I wanted to spend, but it'll do the job.
