Mold...

Unread postby Crazinamatese » Sun Oct 13, 2013 10:33 am

The last time I hunted, was in pouring rain. Everything was soaked, even me. Well, I opened up my little bag where I keep my gloves and headlamp and not only did the stink almost made me gag, but my gloves, headlamp, and my lineman rope was covered in mold. I put all of it back in the bag and washed them to death when I got home. Never again. Be sure to dry your things after a rainy day.

Ha! I am washing all of my stuff right now for that exact reason. Hunted a couple of weeks ago in the rain and forgot to open up my hunting bin and air everything out. Smelled awful when I opened it today.

Wonder if the deer prefer the moldy predator smell over just the hunter smell.
