Be honest. I had 30,000 acres to look over and I like the looks of the two spots I chose. They are close to one another and they seem like they should allow me to adjust to a changing wind pretty quickly.
Thoughts? Thanks guys, I really appreciate any help.

Hunted OH a few times...i can offer this advice- most of your competition will be lazy...meaning if its near a path its a bad spot to be as you not be left alone....they walk by the obvious spot next to the parking lots and want to be in the pretty woods. (esp southern) has some nasty steep areas and you might have never seen thorns like some of the veg has down there...plan on scouting more and hunting less..thermals and winds can be tricky..and their dang squirrels run around in the dark (new one for me...and i thought i had deer all over every morning...). Ever greens typically are breeding areas where we went (SW).
good luck.
good luck.

If youre going in the rut, I would hunt that saddle to the north.
