Stanley is 100% right, especially on these military properties, it's not personal they will come down hard on you. I feel stupid right now for not having done more post season scouting last year to have better contingencies. Lesson learned. You never know what's going to throw a wrench in it, it's better to be prepared.

This article says that national forests and some other federal lands are still open. Geeze ya gotta be a darn detective to find out if you can hunt or not.

That is what I heard in Southern Illinois. It seems like the ramps are closed as well as bathrooms locked up. No one seems to know if they can hunt or not. I heard some guys were still hunting today since there is no one there to answer what it huntable and what isn't.

Keep it shut down and on 10/18 do not raise the debt limit.......let the non essential folks go.

Live within your means....government needs to be downsized.

Lets get that going.....rise up and get our nation back on the right track.

The public is entitled to use public lands.....time for the states to seize federal land and open it back up.

A hard working person will now have to pay a lot more for health care so the dems can get more votes in the future. They are going to have us pay for folks that we do not want to get elected get in office......bad enough so many are on the dole as it is..

Shut it all down.........

LBL is closed here in KY. All access roads are barricaded off. Who do these people think they are? The government dose not own these lands, we the people own them. Its high time to bare arms and clean house.

I heard something on the radio today that the BLM was trying to tell the WI DNR they had to shut down the Northern Kettle Moraine. The DNR told them to pound sand, It is state forest.
