If I see scrapes on the way in I leak in them sometimes. My friend had a trail cam on a scrape that he pissed in, the deer didn't show any hesitation there. These were not mature deer though...

Great point if you plan on hunting the site again may not want to contaminate the site.
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.

You have to be cautious when peeing from the tree. Last year I had the wind catch it and I ended up getting my extra climbing stick wet that I had stashed in the briars next to the tree. I guess I misjudged the wind speed

Trajectory and cross winds come into play. Just like long range shooting with your rifle. Use the same technique with your "pistol". ;)

For the life of me I can't understand why you would pee out of your stand. It floors me actually. To think that the wind couldn't switch or that a deer couldn't come from a different direction seems either very arrogant or very foolish. Have you never smelled urine after a cup of coffee or food like asparagus? I am dumbfounded on this one.
