Wisconsin CWD Clarification

Unread postby P&YBuck1 » Thu Sep 26, 2013 3:49 pm

Can you tag a buck in the CWD area with your general archery buck tag? OR Do you need to shoot a doe using the CWD tags and then shoot a buck?

Just want to verify.

Thanks

yes but If you have a buck tag from shooting a doe I would use that first.

You can tag a buck anywhere including CWD statewide with your regular tag... You can earn extra tags by shooting does.

x2. If you have the authorization sticker, it doesn't pay to burn the tag that works everywhere in the state.

For every doe you shoot & register, they give you a buck sticker...... So you could go shoot 4 doe, & they will give 4 buck tags for it.

Extra buck tags. Antlerless deer tag plus an authorization sticker equals another buck tag.

There are no deer in the CWD zone... don't bother :liar: :shifty:

Thank you for the clarification. I wish I would have known that Saturday night as I had 2 doe at 10 perfect broadside. Oh well. I should have read my regs more carefully.
