Yup, they always seem to have a nasty taste in some cuts of meat. I quit taking the backstraps on deer left overnight above 30 degrees; the backstraps sit right on top of the guts and always have a bad taste IMO. I can usually only salvage the front legs as they are not as close to the guts.

if nothing else if cleaned and dressed well most of the deer will be in good shape... Thanks guys
