Hot Scrapes

Unread postby jshorns » Sat Sep 14, 2013 3:28 pm

Fl. Archery opens on private land in the morning. Public lands next sat. I have no private land to hunt on so I still have a week to go. Ricky Bullard and I went out to a WMA this morning and scouted an area he may hunt in Oct. We found at least 4 fresh scrapes and a couple of rubs. Ricky showed me a "Turpentine tree". I had seen them before but had no clue what they were. I thought someone had ran a chainsaw down the trunk. He's a native so I'm sure I will learn lots from him. THE PLACE WAS FLOODED!!
