looking at topo differently

I have found as a newbie looking at maps it can just become a little to easy to miss things. I have recently started looking at the maps in many different color contrast and background configurations and it really help me see stuff differently. This interesting piece of land above is in a very unique view that helps when sometimes I am just missing something. Any input on the mp above?

I like your style. What site did you use? I have done similar things with topos to help me read the terrain better, especially in some of the hill/bluff country that I hunt. I like to use the grade sloping feature on mappingsupport.com

That is easier to read. :handgestures-thumbup:

I do a lot of this from my phone. I will take a screen shot and take it to different picture editors apps on my phone.

That color scheme is much easier on the eyes.
