What are your plans for opening day?

What are your plans or strategies for opening day? What and where will you be hunting?

I scouted a new piece of public land this Winter/Spring that I am very excited about. My wife and I found a couple of nice sheds, along with a really promising looking buck bed. We found many tall rubs and huge tracks in the area. Weather and wind permitting, we are planning on slipping into within 100 yards of this buck opening weekend.

Probably dove hunting behind my shop. It's an annual thing

Nice plan.

I haven't honed in on particular buck yet. I need to check a few more cameras and glass a lot more before I make a decision. Local hunting pressure also impacts my decision. Many spots will be better mid week if they aren't too far away.

No plans yet, I have some spots that usually have good mature buck sign early in the season but I still have a lot of scouting to do before I make any final decisions.
