ok i get it he broke the law, but prison thats whats messed up about this country. someone can legally abort (kill)there baby and people will fight for these rights. someone kills an animal illegally and this. im sorry this dont add up to me. i know the key word is ILLEGALLY kill. and abortion is LEGAL. --- THATS EXACTLY WHATS MESSED UP WITH THIS COUNTRY. no im not condoning killing deer illegally im just sayin...........

Like most media these days the headline is misleading. Guy got 30 days in jail and gets out for work every day, sorry that's not prison.

He got jail time for breaking federal law and probation....He knew what could happen and he broke the law anyway. He deserves his jail time and one year ban of hunting no doubt about it....

I think some of the severity of the sentence is that he thumbed his nose at authorities when he released a video of him guiding turkey hunters, which constitutes hunting in his state. He also was baiting for turkeys at that point which is completely illegal in his state as well. I think his blatant disregard for game laws is what led to the jail time.

I agree. Nothing bothers me more than a guy that knowingly breaks game laws for his own gain. Guys like him being in the hunting industry give all hunters a very bad image.
