Re: 2013 moon days
Looks like I will give the WI opener a shot in the AM. I typically don't like to hunt the AMs on the property I have access to as it can be tricky to get into the timber without busting deer out of the fields. This year the neighbor granted me permission to access the property I hunt thru his property which should help. Thank you Dan!

All times and dates were gathered useing info from this free site:

This would also be a great site for coming up with good shining times, or glassing times rather than wasting time and gas on non productive days.
I was just checking out the site and noticed that Windhoek is in Nabia on the South end of Africa. I was wondering how that might affect the times so I pulled up an old page (http://www.cellstop.com.na/weather/wind ... -2012.html) and compared it to my 2012 moon chart. Just for reference it looks like their times are around a half hour early. FYI for those detailed moon freaks!
UPDATE: ***Times were off... I have updated and corrected the dates and times to match Jefforson county Wisconsin sunrise / sunset & moon O/H U/F Data... YOU MAY NEED TO ADJUST YOUR TIMES, BASED ON YOUR TIME ZONE ***

So these are for central time? I just move them ahead 1 hour for EST???
Thanks for this, will be paying close attention to these dates!

Re: 2013 moon days
Charles Alsheimer also has rut predictions based on the 2nd full moon after the autumnal equinox for all areas north of the 35th latitude line.
Prime Seek-Chase phase
Nov. 13-23
Prime Breeding phase
Nov. 19-Dec. 3
Maybe these dates used in conjunction with Dan's moon days might help.

Re: 2013 moon days
Interesting. Opening morning is a moon morning. Wonder how many guys will take advantage of that?
