Big buck photos near work

Unread postby Mountain Man » Thu Jul 22, 2010 3:38 am

I wish I could say this was a buck I could hunt but unfortunately it’s not. This buck lives next to the office building where I work in SE WI and it’s in a city where there is no hunting. A co-worker shot some video on July 16 or 17 and these photos were taken from the video. The deer was about 100 yards away - the camera was hand-held and zoomed and the pics are a bit fuzzy. He's a main frame 10 with a split left G1 and look at those G2s! He should still grow a bit. Anyone care to guess a score for now or when he's done growing?

Cool buck too bad you can't hunt him.

Here is a buck where one of our guys works, from last year. The buck was almost tame......you could walk close but still wouldn't eat out of your hand.

Wow, great pics guys.
A buck will see you three times, and hear you twice, but he's only gonna smell you once.

Would these bucks be considered white collar bucks instead of blue collared? :?

He's off limits. This a city buck where no hunting is allowed. We should get more pictures this year.

That's too bad. Even though you can't harvest him, he sure will be fun to watch and look at. What a great buck.

I had to run down to place where the buck in the previous pictures live. Got lucky to see him again this year. Walked as close as I could....about 10 yards from him. Camera I keep in my truck is kind of a piece of junk, but you can see his rack ok.

Looks to be going slightly down hill this year.
