How old is this (former) 10pt?
I don't know if I posted this before or not, but I wanted to see what all of you thought about the age of this buck. His right G2 is broke off, but when I passed him up on the bow opener he was a 10pt.

You cannot invade mainland America. There would be a rifle behind every blade of grass.

I would say 3 1/2 possibly 4 1/2 as a guess.

So this video was made last year? And the previous year he was a 10 point you say? Looks like he was an eight with a broken tine at the time of the video.
Only you can decide if this is a good buck for you.
He looks 3 1/2 ish. I don't think he's 4 1/2.

A buck will see you three times, and hear you twice, but he's only gonna smell you once.

That video was from 2 years ago and I forgot to mention that he also broke off his left G4. I think he lost them both in a fight right behind the house with a bigger buck at night or in the morning (I didn't go out that morning). You could see where they were fighting in the food plot. Plenty of hair on the ground too.

I don't see this deer as a ten point. I don't see any signs of a G4 on either beam. I can see the broken G2 on the right antler. Are you sure the deer you passed and this deer are the same one?

The G4 is very hard to see in the video, but it's there. I pointed it out as best I could. After I seen this video I started to think I had imagined the other G4. I looked and looked for it, but the left beam looked perfect. Fortunately I seen the deer after it was harvested and could see where it had broke off flush. It appeared that it was smaller than the other. Probably about 2".

No. I passed him on the bow opener. A guy 1.5 miles down the road killed him Thanksgiving morning because trespassers had pushed him out of my area. I'm sure he would have lived if not for the trespassers. He ran a unique daylight pattern every year that nobody hunted.
