Running vs. Walking tracks

I,ve had some trouble deciphering between the 2 in the past. I always cut a track crossing the road in the same spot ,that I assumed was from a big buck. But now I,m thinking was i just looking at a running doe, mabey.

If you only have a single track, more detective work is in order to determine if it was walking or running. Here's a link to an article from Dan on buck tracks:
