I do something similar to this...when I get settled, I say a prayer giving thanks for allowing me to be out where everything feels right. I also ask that if the opportunity presents itself, I make a good decision and a good shot.

I never know when my last hunt will be so I try to be thankful and enjoy every opportunity I am given.

I do similar...Have a little prayer I say at the beginning of each hunt to keep myself and friends safe and to guide my arrow to its mark. I've done this for 10+ years.

Too much information.
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.

Gun hunting opening day every year that I can remember, and waking up before daylight listening to Da turdy point buck song on one of the local radio stations. Every year they play it on opening morning. Its kinda a tradition now.

Not really a superstition but rather something I always have to do before each evening hunt, shoot a few arrows.

About time for me to clean deer mounts.
I'm reason they call it hunting and not shooting.

HERE IS A GOOD ONE FOR ALL YOU GUYS!

I buy my wife flowers at the beginning and end of each deer season.
