all my friends pick on me becouse i rather shoot does than bucks if im bow hunting and only have my either sex tag i shoot first doe that gives me a chance and they pic on me they hold out for a buck i my self rather have the meat help with 4 kids and a wife thats 6 im feeding is that kind of thinking gone is the meat hunter dying out

My small urban spots thats all I want to shoot is does. Deer population is too high there and no one hunts so we need to help cull the herd. My father is strictly meat and would rather shoot a doe than a buck but will take anything that walks by. If everyone only shot bucks the deer herd everywhere would suffer.

As long as it is a legal harvest, I never question myself bases upon what my friends think. If you are happy then that's all there is to worry about! I like whacken them old nanner heads too!

no i can get 2 antlerless tegs for 10 dollers more if im drawn or antlerless ml late archery tag if i want but get a buck tag for gun season in newyork also i just like taking does with my bow

It depends on what intel I have going into the season. Last year, time was not on my side with missing the first month and a half of the season. I didn't have much intel, so I filled the freezer any chance I could.

Shoot what you please and what makes you happy. Ill never question a legally harvested deer. I was just wondering if you had the option. I know in MN there are many areas that are one and done so guys don't like burning their main tag on a doe and won't shoot does unless they have an extra doe tag, some units have them and some don't.

Not a thing wrong with does. I shoot them too...if my wife doesn't. She loves em. If that's what you want to shoot, go for it. Not a thing wrong with that and no, you not less than a man for doin it.

Everyone hunts for different reasons. Have fun and be safe. The only way to be 'wrong' about hunting is by breaking the law.
