I didn't even watch the video posted but I'm kind of a fan of Rompola. For whatever reason I think he's legit.

Mitch could have easily ended all the controversy just by having the buck x-rayed but I respect that it was his choice. His son has said that when Mitch dies that he will publicly have the rack X-rayed

It would really make a lot of people eat humble pie if indeed it ended up being a real world record.

You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.

No controversy here for me: either it is or it isn't.

Right now it isn't.

Looking at his website romplawhitetails.com there are other harvest pictures of deer that have the same charectiertics as the deer in question, they look strange compared to the other pictures he has.

Or it could be the gentics of the deer in the area he hunts.

No matter what, true or untrue, this is a real cool and interesting story. I found the original stories that ran in deer and deer hunting Magazine. Here is the link where it was posted in a forum thread:

**Removed link**

The first story is posted third post down, the second story is posted. Period I had a great time reading these.

Your new here, so you probably don't know... Links to any site are welcome here, any site except the site you posted... After what the "new" owners of of that site did to me, Carol, Andrae, and this site, no links to that site are allowed.
