Muddy, has it been a dry, wet or normal rainfall year out there?
A buck will see you three times, and hear you twice, but he's only gonna smell you once.

We go in spurts. 2 weeks of a ton of rain, then a week of nothing but HEAT. The area these guys are in has 2 springs and a big pond, they're not hurting at all.

I used to hunt Jackson when I lived there. Moved to Iowa City many moons ago and the drive isn't justifiable anymore. Canton isn't terribly far from where I grew up just south of the "MIGHTY" town of Baldwin. Wondering if we knew each other?

I'm living in Davenport, but my wife is working at the LTRM station in Bellevue. I spend a lot of time hunting in Jackson County.

Small world, I used to work for Mel at the LTRM station in Bellevue. Have her tell him that "Matt Splat" says hi.
