This is one buck that could still be around the neighbor found both sides of his antlers. So I do know he made it. Most of the other nice bucks I had pictures of were killed by other hunters.

You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.

I only ran my cams until the end of September last year and have yet to find a shed this season. Guess I do not have a target buck....yet.

I dont have pics of the 2 bucks i have so far this yr on my hit list but ill tell you about them. The one id really like to get i have only spotted once. An area i hunt kept having massive rubs and i never could figure out what was making them and i finally caught a glimpse of him last yr while shining during the rut. Outside of the rut he is like a ghost. He is only a 6 point, however he is one of the biggest bucks ive ever seen. Huge spread, huge mass and beautiful long tines. Just an absolute giant and to top it off only a 6 pt. I think that makes him more special that he only has 6 and is so big. My 2nd pick is actually using the same area as the first and is a small, gnarled up basket rack (maybe a 7 or 8 pt) but he is a malanistic deer. For those of you unfamiliar, these are more rare than an albino. They are all black in color. It would sure be a once in a lifetime opportunity to put him on the wall. Hes old and smart though. Smarter than me apparently haha

Assuming 3.5 last fall he will be 4.5 this year. Nobody killed him that I know of and I keep good tabs on that kind of stuff.

Missed this buck in gun season. I call him "Drop Blind" He is actually blind in his other eye from seeing pics of him from neighbors. Shot at him running through an open field and shot right in front of his neck. This pic is on opening day of bow season 20 yards from one of my stands. I was 200 yards away. Heard he is wintering on neighbors property about a mile away. Guessing 5.5 yr old here and will be 6.5 next fall.

This buck is "Hightower". I know some people hate it when we name deer but its what I do. Found his sheds in Spring 2012 which were 4.5 yr old sheds (guess) and he scored 150 inches on the nose. Last summer I got great video of him and here is a pic of it. Last seen in hard horn on Sept 22nd. Have not found his sheds.
