I do some suburb hunting since I live in Chicago. It amazing once someone has their flowers or $60,000 car destroyed they practically beg you to come and hunt there land. Most of these people though don't have the land or its not legal to hunt their property. I do have a few spots to hunt and ever deer that you take the landowners couldn't be happier. Venison for me and once less deer to get hit by a car!

Cool pics. I love urban hunting.
If you want to kill a deer you have to be in the woods.

There are defenitly some big deer in urban settings, I did it for a few years but grew tired of it and longed for the county agian.

Schubox, not only did you teach me how to add Topo maps to earth but let me know about a show that is almost identical to how I do my urban hunting. I hunt within a couple hundred yards of million dollar houses. Don't be mistaken, I try and pick spots next to forest preserves and only take very close shots and try and make sure the deer are heading in the direction that I want after they are hit.

Schubox, I owe you a round of drinks!

That's amazing: I happen to LOVE drinking!

I flipped over to view the show last night to see a guy about to whack a doe from his front porch. Needless to say, my wife was not impressed, so I switched back.

There is another post on here where the show is not getting good reviews.

I work with a guy who has a story about tracking a deer in a suburban setting across someone's front lawn while their kids where out waiting for the school bus. He shot the deer out of his kids elevated play house. Saves the cost of having to buy a Lone Wolf, I guess...
