New Bowhunting Video I Made

Unread postby bowhunter15 » Sun Mar 24, 2013 5:10 pm

YouTube has a new channel layout that allows you to add a "trailer" on your main page. So I decided to put one together showcasing some of the footage I've gotten over the past couple years. Let me know what you guys think!

Thanks! A YouTube channel is basically a home page for all of a user's videos.

That was awesome, great work on your trailer...
Gets a person pumped for this coming year.
I liked the fade in shots of your names.

If I could ask what type of equipment did you use to shoot the stop motion shots of the clouds?

I captured the cloud timelapses with my regular camcorder. I just set it up on a tripod, locked the exposure, and hit record for a while. Then I put the clip into my editing software and speed up the footage to a speed that I feel looks good, apply color grading effects and that's it. :D

Most of the professional timelapses are using DSLR cameras and intervalometers to take a high quality image every x-amount of seconds. I don't have that type of equipment, so I try to make do with what I have.
