Food for thought. Have you guys ever though about adding a little more tactical insight (aerials, previous scouting intel, pertinent trail cam intel, etc.) to explain why, when, and where you guys hunt? Maybe this would be too much given the fact that you do not control access?

Awesome show. Just ordered that 4 pack of DVDs seems like a great deal and a great way to try out some WKP productions. Probably going to pre-order that new dvd too.

With 15+ bowhunters withing 1 mile of my farm, I can't show too much detail. It's hard enough as it is to kill these deer with all the other guys pounding the crap out of every square inch of ground around my place.

For example, in this episode where I put out the stick and pic (and had a stand hanging above it), I actually ran into a hunter that day that was hunting on my neighbors property, and told him of the stand and that I had permission to hunt there. Just after hunting season, I went on my neighbors (and have permission to), the guy had 2 stands and a blind within 75 yards of my stand, cutting off all the major trails coming into my standing food sources. He also had bait piles, and will now no-longer be hunting that farm - ever. I deal with the same crap all you guys do; except I'm basically creating a monster with every deer I show online. That's why I don't show much before the season, and don't show many deer unless I know they dead or not killable by the guys around my place.

My only way of doing well on my ground is by not hunting it but a few times a year. The rest of the time it's a sanctuary, and I spend most of my time on other properties in other locations when the deer are bigger, and pressure is less. Now that Barry's dead, I'll probably hunt even less here - which will only increase my odd's when I do hunt because it's the only piece of ground anywhere around me not being completely over-hunted by guys who are less experienced. Thankfully for me:)....

I just ordered a new blade for my saw and a matching hat to go with it so I can look good in the woods this spring.

Can I ask if the new DVD will have a HD or a blue ray option? I may be mistaken but I don't think the previous ones do?

Think about it for next season. The percentage of people with HD option is pretty high and will only be going up. Besides just looming better, the HD footage has a has a great ability to really help you connect with what you guys are trying to portray in the woods. We have all been up in a tree and know how amazing things can look and the more you can recreate that the better.

I watch my blue ray Heartland DVDs way more then I would typically just for this reason.

Got my spare blade and hat in just a couple days after ordering. I got one of those fall grey hats and its awesome. I love the material.

Too pricy, it would honestly only reduce our sales if we did it. Good quality footage and stories will have to be enough!!
