All i know is all this non typical talk has my trigger finger itching! I have one non typical on the wall and he was a freak buck and a young (injury?) one, maybe someday I can connect with one like some of these shown!

I always thought it went with age. I do know for sure the stickers and knarly stuff gets my blood pumpin

I believe for the most part yes.. but genes play such a heavy role.
I shot a crazy non-typical this year who was a non-typical his whole life (I have pics of him dating back to 2008 and 2 sheds off of him).

I would say no on the kickers/stickers part of the question. Ive seen more than a few of young bucks with "trash".
I would say YES on the mass part of the questions. Aint' no young buck going to have "beer can bases".
Mass comes with age. Trash... not so much.

This is the "cleft buck" as he was known. I have a shed off him from 2007 and another from 2010. His whole life he was non-typical. It was in his genetic make up.
