Well he got by again this year.

This is the second year in a row. Think I will be on him this coming year if he makes it too this coming season.

I'm reason they call it hunting and not shooting.

Good luck! Hope you find his sheds. Got his beds nailed down yet?

I know where he spends his summer. He ranges a large area during O N D months. Really feel like I will be on him this year. It looks run down in that pic from the rut. He's walking an not paying a bit of attention where he is going. I have a stand in a cedar about seventy five yards from there.

Don't those daylight pics just drive you crazy, especially when you get them in the hunting season?! If you were there in that spot at that time, you would have had an opportunity at that whopper!

It does pump me up though because it's like finding a chink in his armor and that gives me confidence that he can be killed. Helps with the positive attitude that we discussed in a different thread.

Good luck putting an arrow in that tank!

If you want to kill a deer you have to be in the woods.

Yep, know what you mean! I have got to start hunting that stand in late season. Those day pics knock me down when I see them. Then I stop an think it is possible to get on him in the day light. That buck is no where near camera shy. He will stand in front of the camera as if he is taunting me. I am getting stirred up just typing an this is only Feb.

Dandy buck.
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.
