Checking the beast here staring out the window and: 19 does and fawns came out of the woods to eat in the wheat field behind my house. Last night there were 13 including 3 bucks. Life is good!

Pure bliss.
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.

Squirrel, I also have been seeing quite a few deer out in the fields lately. I saw 14 in a picked corn field on thursday. Its really nice to see good numbers of deer. It has been probably 6 or 7 years since I have seen this many deer.

There is one doe and two button buck fawns that routinly stroll through my woods along with a 2 yo 8 point that I"ve seen. That's it.......
A buck will see you three times, and hear you twice, but he's only gonna smell you once.

My deer at my house are still too afraid to show during the daytime. Maybe the upcoming cold snap will get them here. Usually after dark they run out of my yard after eating some 'corns when I take the dog out, but nothing yet.
