The story of how it was harvested wasn't relayed to me. I will see if I can get the story, that is, if the guy told the guys at River's Edge. Stayed tuned to Busch Light Bandit News tomorrow at 10pm...

Pics are lost on this old post but it reminds me of how good the hunting was here prior to the WDNR lowering the populstion... Its coming back but its still no where near what it used to be. And back then several giants were shot around here every year....

I was just thinking about that. Even going shining you would see a bunch of studs. Those were the good ol days I suppose

There is so much cool stuff out there and history. I think the greatest bowhunter to ever live in Wis is Art Laha, and sadly most don't even know who.he was.

In the 80s and 90s, 130 bucks were pretty.common in Bayfield and Ashland Countys.

Best I ever saw was a 194, official measure out of Grandview, shot gun season in the Bibon.
