Holiday hunt cwd???

Doesnt this open on the 24 th?? Just had 2 guys come by with guns and stands! I got my bow and am in full camo. Dont want to get shot this is public land!!

with most hunts for deer in this state starting on saturday, I too thought it would start on Saturday... But I looked it up and made sure... I can see the mistake. I often see bow hunters in camo during the youth gun season, or thinking they can bow hunt bucks during the doe gun season... This state has gotten so screwed up with ever changing complex rules where it literally depends on what side of a road your on, what county your in, and what deer unit your in... Its the same reason I really don't fish much. It take a lawyer to read over the rules for you to understand them...

Ya, thats all it was, I whistled and they saw me and said sorry and turned around and walked back. They had blaze on so weren't trying to get away with anything. I checked the regs like 3 times myself figuring it started today also. I couldn't believe they climbed trees 50 yards away though Oh well, first hunt screwed up by hunters this year so not to bad.

i know what you mean ....just when you think your doing every thing by the book ...boom they hit you with some stupid law!!!half the people that fish dont even know there breaking the law..

This is why I am nervous since one area I hunt is across the highway from a CWD zone, so I am concerned someone may try gun hunting thinking it too is part of CWD zone for the Holiday hunt.
