a Wolf & a Buck!

Unread postby dreaming bucks » Fri Dec 07, 2012 3:12 am

I received this email this morning. I don't know the guy that got it, but check it out, that thing is huge.

The hunter is 6’1” and the wolf is 165 lbs. The buck was shot as he was climbing down
his stand to admire the wolf he had shot. Both harvested somewhere between Marathon
City & Merrill, WI. The hunter believes this to be the alpha male as it dwarfed the size of
the five others wolves in the same pack.

That is one huge wolf. Looks more like 300 than 165.
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.

wow that is a huge wolf. We have a black wolf in my area that we catch on surveillance video from time to time. We can't judge the size but he looks pretty intimidating. We had footage one time of him chasing a deer across the road.

Lots of wolf pics going around with some big numbers attached. Lets remember these animals have a lot of fur and a 150lbs wolf is probably as rare as a 200 inch buck, maybe more rare. Just like all those hunters with 200lbs deer, the scale never lies but the internet does.
