Oct 26, 2012 - 5:30 PM (4.5 y.o.)
Oct 29, 2012 - 6:00 PM (4.5 y.o.)
Nov. 17, 2012 - 1:00 PM (3.5 y.o.)

Certain days are definitely better than others throughout the rut...curious how much the data will start to "clump up" taking into account weekends and such when there are just more hunters in the woods.

Interesting these bucks were taken at almost every hour of day even out of rut. So do any of these coincide with moon phase that you have seen? More reading I do on moon phases, the less I believe that it has nothing to do with deer movement.

November 10 - 8 am

The best day of rut activity that I saw this year was the morning of Nov 13. I saw multiple bucks on their feet that morning cruising. Keep in mind, this was the fourth day of the rifle season in Nebraska and the bucks were out cruising well after first light despite the heavy, heavy hunting pressure.

Have not done any crunching yet. This will be a long on going cold weather project. I'm going through trail camera pictures now. I have thousands to edit and document.
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.

Good point on the weekends. I won't know about weekends as I will strictly use day and time data.

definitely will clump on weekends for any given year, also for the first two weeks of november (due to vacation being taken), as well as evenings during the early season. All stands to reason as these times/dates are when we are hunting. Which is why we need large sample sizes to validate/invalidate any environmental influences.

Stanley,
I also record temperature, barometric pressure and state (rising, falling, steady), wind speed/direction, for the harvest location and will let you know what I hear from the ODNR. Hopefully I can get 2011 data as well.
