Alright guys, I need your opinion. Last year on the last day of bow season(end of December) I was out scouting and bumped a shooter off his bed. A couple days later I went back and back tracked his path to the primary bed. Last Su day I had about 2 hours to hunt so I sat in my Huntmore chair about 100 yards down wind. I wasn't sure he was in there yet. Well he was in there and I had him all fired up with "the man in the can".
I haven't had much time to hunt this year, but I am basically buckless.
Given the high wind we have today and I am 75% certain he is in there again, should I burn the bridge? If I do this I am gonna have to army crawl about 200 yards. I don't know exactly where he is bedding, but I have a good idea within 60 yards.
What would you do?

if you know he's there the high wind could be a big advantage for you. You should be able to get close without him hearing you. I say go for it.

I would try to use the wind to your advantage and get as close as you possibly can to the bed you found. Sometimes you have to get aggressive and sounds like you have a good plan. Good luck!

You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.

Made it in nice and quiet. Wind is blowing hard out of the NW in the open. Blowing out of the east in here. I think I screwed this up. Gonna sit til dark anyway.
