Trailcam on scrapes

Unread postby Jay » Sun Nov 18, 2012 9:35 am

I've been running a camera in the same spot since mid September. I have 6 different bucks visiting this location right now during the rut. One particular buck works the scrapes every visit (the largest buck) and the other bucks just walk up to get a whiff and maybe brush a limb or two with their head. Is it safe to say this large buck lives there and the other ones are just cruising?

I'd say yes. Sounds like It's more of his scrape then anyone elses.

I'd say it's his scrape and he's the dominate buck so the others don't get carried away when they visit. Post some pics
