Did he end up leaving OK? He looked like he may have been hit by a car. It's cool to get that close to him. He had a neat rack for a spike.

there was another 8 minutes of him walking down into the cedar swamp.

there was no blood or hair.

i think he just got stuck. he will thank me in a few years. he will blow up as a 3 1/2 next year. good mass now.

Awesome gesture... But I am pretty sure he won't survive the ordeal.

Andrae released a buck stuck in a barb wire fence once... He figured it probably didn't make it. But they have no chance if you leave them there.

Animals can die from exhaustion, just like you see a buck dies when his antlers are locked to another buck. My brother and I were just kids and learned that lesson when we chased my uncles sheep and one just fell over and died from exhaustion. I hope that deer makes it, we know it wouldnt have if left stuck to that tree.

Thanks for that video. Very interesting. I wonder if he got hit by a car to end up in that bad of shape in the first place. The way he walked in circle it seems to me that he suffered some inner ear/brain trauma.
