It all starts back in spring 2010 when I found a unique shed. It was a big fork but very little mass. Biggest fork I have ever seen. I figured he was 2 yrs old. The next year about a mile away I got one pic of a buck around Nov. 10th last year and he had a big fork on one side and 4 points on the other. Only pic and time I had ever seen this buck. Today I checked my camera which was very close to where I had my cam last year and got this same buck again. I think he is at least a 4.5 yr old this year. He blew up from 3 to 4.
I just find it interesting I dont ever see this buck at all until this time frame on our property. Then he disappears for another year. Figured some of you guys would like to hear this info.
Pic is from November 5th

Cool buck. Fairly common, his core area is elsewhere, probably nearby. But he likes to cruise your property during the rut. Good luck!

Wonder if there is a wound or damage to the opposite side of him to explain the antler asymmetry? I have heard of quite a few bucks to seem to stay out of an area all year only to reappear for a week and then take off again. Interesting.
