I have seen 16 deer since we got here, 1 decent buck.

freezing & rain at the moment,

Looonnnggg night, storm was intense with quite the light show. Temps dropped from 75 ish to 37. Should get things moving... I have seen 5 deer so far, no bucks.

Miserable day but should clear after lunch.

I placed my case underneath my SUV Rental to prepare for sleeping in my rig.
That's my rolling Holiday Inn Express!:)
Zap stuck it out in the elements most of the night- he's a mad man.

Well last minute we checked the radar and noted the nasty weather coming in and thought tonights a good night for showers.

We drove away with the case still under my ride. Thank God there where no hotel rooms and also no one seeing the case in the middle of the parking lot - yikes!

Dang you did get lucky, but just cause it was still there doesnt mean it wasnt spotted. Years ago I was on a caribou trip. Had my gun and bow in a sled that I pulled behind my snowmobile. I was flying down this road and when I went to turn off, the sled wasnt behind me. I started back tracking and a pickup was headed towards me. The guy waved me down asking if I was missing my sled? I said yes. He said we moved it off the road, its back a ways on the left side. I thanked them a ton and off I went. I found my sled and all my gear was there.

It was nice to have a bed to sleep in last evening!

Ed is pulling a stand and will hunt a stand that we set on Saturday and have not hunted yet, I am hunting a stand that Ed hunted Saturday evening.

We are keeping at it.
