Private Forest Lands Open to Public Recreation

The DNR just posted there new mapping program that list all the private land in WI that is part of the Open Managed Forest Law and the Forest Crop Law. The bulk of the areas appear to be in the Northern part of Wisconsin.

The software used is pretty good and contains aerial photos. New DNR Mapping program http://dnrmaps.wi.gov/opfl/

Might be another option if an area is close to you.

Wow thanks for posting this. I thought I knew where all the MFL and VPA lands were, but I was wrong. Now I have some spots to check out for north winds. Thanks.
