Any Halloween Bucks??

Unread postby BowtechHunting » Thu Nov 01, 2012 2:33 pm

It's that time of year when someone bags a Freak Buck on halloween. I unfortunately missed one of the best days to, today, and see deer everywhere I went this morning and evening (mostly). So anybody get lucky? Post'em if you got'em.

I went out this morning and didn't see anything. Went out this evening and saw two little bucks could've shot both of them, but decided to pass looking for something bigger. Well on the way home tonight I almost clipped a good buck with my truck. He had a decent spread with good mass in the beams. I stopped and put the spot light on him and he definetly makes me want to shoot him maybe tomarrow.

My dad seen two really good bucks last night. The bigger of the two he said was the biggest buck he's ever seen in his life and he's seen quite a few in his 70 years. Hopefully he gets a crack at him.
Find his shed, find his bed, use your head to make him dead.

We went 2 for 3 on the 30th. One 3 yr old nine 130s, and one 5 yr old eleven 140s. Almost went 3 for 3. I was within 100 yrs of a nice 4 yr old ten about a hour before dark. I am going back out tonight and tomorrow.
