Spent the afternoon kicked back and watched Marsh Bucks and Hill Country Bucks to refresh my tactics.
Here is my view for today from my easy chair!
Getting ready to head out to drive around and check out some of my areas to see if there is any hunting pressure or any deer out and about in any fields before dark. Later I am going shining to catch up on any rut action that may be going on.
I know it doesn't really sound like I am taking a break today from hunting but believe me after the miles I have put on walking in the past few weeks this is a very welcome rest. I will be hitting it hard the next week and a break once in awhile can really do some good. I am trying to hunt smarter instead of harder for a change!
