MN New ground buck
Left from upper michigan last thursday morning and headed near spring grove MN to some new ground for a rut hunt. I shot this one saturday morning on a great bench pinched between cut corn and some sheer cliffs. He came through hot on a doe grunting. I hit him a little forward through the right side shoulder, the arrow was just poking through the left side shoulder. He made four leaps uphill ( thank goodness ) got tangled in some thick brush and barbwire and then stiffened and tipped over. Lots of rut activity going on right now down there. Been really blessed this year by the man upstairs.

Re: MN New ground buck
Nice buck for sure.
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.
