OK, I see your front...and raise it a frankenstorm...

Seems like things are starting to line up for some bad weather for some of the better hunting time of the season. Given talk about fronts, what impact to the hunting will there? This storm is expected to run several days...so this isn't some storm that deer will bed through until it is over.

Thanks...lol.

Its not so much the storm intensity that is the issue, it's the length of time of the storm will take to move through...several days worth of hunting may go by the wayside from some people.

Just think, if it is what its says and it rains 2 or 3 days with high winds, just imainge the next day and think of what the time of year it is. Just ponder the choas after the storm. I know I'd miss a day of work to be in a treestand after that!

80+ mph winds and almost double digits inches worth of rain coming here. I can't wait, perfect weather for late October sits in the tree.

I'm still trying to figure out where this thing is gonna hit and if I should hold off on taking off until after this thing passes. I'm off oct 29th through Nov 11th. I'm thinking about waiting until after Tuesday, but if this thing bypasses Virginia and we get the cold front I'll be upset I didn't take off. At the same time, I'd hate to be holed up in the house for three days burning my vacation time. I'm going to wait until later tomorrow to make a decision. The forecasters can't make up their mind what it's going to do, neither can the storm.

If you want to kill a deer you have to be in the woods.
