Nano - Nanny

Unread postby Arrowbender » Tue Oct 23, 2012 1:57 pm

Went out for a morning hunt with the thoughts of a freezer filling doe in mind. When this little gal came strolling in I couldn't pass her up. She had a little ground shrinkage but man I haven't had tender viddles like this in a while.

Now you always hear about the hole that those Rage can leave.
Well now; I don't think I have seen anything like this before. This is the entry hole.
I use Slick Trick magnum 125's. I think the fact that she was about a 45 degree quartering away helped more than the blade but still pretty impressive. Sliced 6 ribs and left a about a ten inch gash in her nearside lung. Complete pass through to fwd. of opposite shoulder.

She didn't make it 50 yds. And the blood was down right GORY.
Didn't really fill the freezer but it's good to break the ice and be eating Venny again.

Cool.
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.

I've used slick tricks for a couple years and never saw a hole like that! Looks like one of those explosive tips Rambo used!

WOW X2. I used slick trick magnums last year and actually went away from them this year because I was dissatisfied with the holes and bloodtrails and switched to a cut on contact. But man you can't argue with those results!
