Little Hunting Update

Unread postby Patrickthekiller » Tue Oct 23, 2012 12:47 pm

So far this season I've been out almost every weekend and so far im very impressed with what I have seen so far. Opening weekend saw numerous bucks ranging from spikes to basket six points and lots of does. Hunting only got better from there, more bucks started coming around now we have seen a pair of mature 8 points running together with beautiful racks-soon to be mine :D , another pair of 6 points with wide and thick antlers, and lastly a nice 7 point which i'm almost 99% sure i called him in with a set of rattling antlers i was playing around with! Hope to get some picture of me and at least one of these nice bucks up close! Wish you all a good and safe hunt.

Thanks Chris

Patrick is my good friend Dan's son. I have hunted with him the last 3 rifle openers here in MI. He shot the buck he is holding 3 years ago, that was my sneaking in the bedroom story for those that read that one. The next year I got the buck and he shot the doe. Last year I was in the blind with him, when he poked a buck with his 243 at about 260 yds. I thought he shot at 240 yds and stopped looking, then I went for a walk and came back and said we need to look a little more. Perfect double lung hit. This kid is a killer.
