Doe in the AM

Unread postby Z7WIBoy » Sun Oct 21, 2012 12:04 pm

Got a kitchen pass for tomorrow morning. Would you hunt a picked corn field or transition back to bedding. Not real good at morning hunts as I don't really like to go into a place I haven't scouted in the dad and sound like a bull in a china shop.

I would get near the doe bedding in the transition area. I am thinking of doing this myself but I don't know if I want to burn a spot that will produce in the rut, so most likely I will sleep in.

Went shining and I was not alone tonight. It was like a parade of trucks with shiners. Pheasant also opening this end and every lot was full today. I am either going to have to go in deep or sleep in. Wish my private was closer but driving an hour and 1/2 for a couple hours is not worth it.
Will be sleeping in
