When is the best 7 day rut period in SE KS?

Good question. Ive been there first and second week over a few years and have not seen the hard chasing, but have seen lock down(buck with a doe way out in open field). The locals and some of the guys on here claim the slobs come out around thanksgiving, but family commitments keeps me home during that time. Ill be back out there sometime around Nov 8-16

I've gone twice the week before thanksgiving and it's been hit or miss
