So I can get out 12 times this year plus my Kansas rut hunt. Should I hunt a Red moon with windy conditions tonight or wait and hunt when it's cold and calm? Your thoughts please. I had a nice buck I was after but am not confident he is bedding where he was 3 weeks ago. Didn't see him on the opener 4 days ago and now I am after a doe or him if be shows up.

I would assume the cold should get him into feeding mode.

Cold and calm would be my choice over full moon.
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.
