Fisrt Kill on Film

Unread postby browning3 » Thu Oct 04, 2012 9:47 am

Shot my first deer on film this past Saturday. Did some quick editing with Movie Maker. Basically my practice run. Hopefully I can put a toad down on video next.

cool video and nice job editing, what type of mount and camera did you use? I have a Kodak Playsport mounted on an Insane Archery mount, I would be tickled pink if I could get that kind of footage off mine, nicely done

Great Video!

I have the same camera as Brad said and looking for a mount to try out. Especially for my urban spot, all shots are less than 20 yards and my main lane is at 8 yards. Wouldn't mind trying it out and see how I do.

That is the exact setup I have. Kodak Playsport mounted on insane archery mount. I bought the bundle package last year off their website. Does a good job for a cheaper camera. It actually does suprisingly well in lowlight too. It's waterproof to 10ft so no need to worry about rain.

I did the bundle too, I really like mine. The price is great for what you get and it all fits nice in the case. WIth footage that good it kind of makes me question if I need to carry the 6 pound camera arm way back into some of the marshes or public lands.

Any tips or tricks you have learned so far with yours? I just found out Saturday that I could make it not beep when I pushed the record button (thanks Big Daddy Yo Yo  )
