? for yall
Last night I went after my target buck in close to his bedding area. I got my shot but I just grazed the bottom of him I thought he would duck a little and needless to say he didnt. My ? is what are the chances of getting another crack at him. I have a good wind again tonight and last night he didnt really seem to have a clue what happened he took to bounds and slowly walked away. Any input thanks

I would go right back and give it another shot... Did you leave your arrow there? Getting scent on his trail is a negative.

Its normal to anticipate some downward movement from a deer as he hears the shot and trys to leave. However never aim off the animal. Good luck.

I think I'd go right back after him when the conditions are the same.
